Sound Mind Sound Body is excited to reannounce its 5th Annual High School 7v7 Football Showcase powered by 5th Quarter Sports Management, Detroit Wing Company, Nick’s Chips, and Battle Sports. After unforeseen air quality concerns, the event was postponed and rescheduled for July 12th – 13th. The showcase will feature the most prominent talent from across Michigan.
The High School 7v7 Football Showcase combines divisions and leagues from over 30 high schools with over 80 players with D-1 offers for a thrilling display of high-level athleticism, skill, and teamwork. This non-contact version of football focuses on the passing game, offering a platform for quarterbacks, wide receivers, and defensive backs to demonstrate their abilities in an exciting and fast-paced competitive environment.
The action-packed event begins at 2:30 pm and will feature eight pools of competitive games over two days. The 2021 & 2022 D-1 back-to-back State Champions Belleville High School, D-3 back-to-back State Champions King High School, 5x Division 2 State Champions Warren De La Salle, and highly coveted athletes will be in attendance.

Belleville 2024 MLB/RB Jeremiah Beasley (Michigan commit) – Beasley is Michigan’s No. 1 LB in Michigan and holds approximately 30 offers. He is explosive and moves swiftly on the field. Beasley announced his commitment to UMich last week.
Belleville 2024 QB Bryce Underwood – No. 1 overall player in America. Strategic mover with a strong arm. Underwood has over 30 offers.
Harper Woods DB 2024 Jacob Oden (Michigan commit) – No. 1 DB in the class of 2024. Oden is a 4-star physical athlete with great control and football intelligence. His physical agility matches his mental agility. Oden committed to UM in February.
River Rouge 2024 WR Nick Marsh – Marsh is a physical receiver with great size and strength—one of the top 15 WR prospects in the country. Marsh has played varsity since his freshman season.
Southfield A&T 2024 QB Isaiah Marshall (Kansas commit) – Ranked No. 1 QB Marshall is a highly coveted QB with excellent mobility and a strong arm. The three-star prospect has started since his freshman season and was a leading force in leading Southfield A&T to a winning record season. Holds 22 D-1 offers.
Detroit King 2025 TE/DL Xavier Newsome – No. 1 TE in America. Newsome is a powerhouse 4-star athlete. He is a quick and elusive athlete with seven offers.
Cass Tech 2026 WR CJ Sadler – No. 1 overall player in the class of 2026. Sadler is a rising dual athlete with over 20 offers. Sadler was invited to the All-American Bowl during the off-season.
Harper Woods 2027 WR Dakota Guerrant – No. 1 player in the class of 2027. The incoming freshman has three offers.
