Grand Valley State’s “Best of the Midwest” Camp Generates Exposure

Allendale, Mich. – Grand Valley State’s “Best of the Midwest” football camp Sunday was a recruiting hotbed. Top recruits all throughout the Midwest, including those already equipped with impressive scholarship offers, plus under-the-radar recruits, who were looking for more exposure, competed in front of more than 150 college coaches.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and Ohio State coach Urban Meyer were among the biggest names in attendance. They were joined by members of their own staffs and members of several other coaching staffs from every level of collegiate football.

The sheer number of college coaches meant more looks for top players and more opportunities for lesser known recruits looking to play at the next level.

Since Sunday, several camp attendees have been offered scholarships.
