Out-of-School Time Programming
Sound Mind Sound Body has partnered with the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) to offer Out-of-School Time (OST) Programming to the school districts of River Rouge, Southfield, and Harper Woods.
These services are available before, after, and during the summer for students in grades 1st-12th.
Out-of-school time (OST) programming is used to support expanded learning opportunities, including, but not limited to, mentoring, leadership, community engagement, agriculture, visual and performing arts, literacy, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, financial literacy, health and wellness, physical fitness, recreation, career and college exploration, youth voice, 21st-century skills, conflict resolution, and social engagement programming.
