Sound Mind Sound Body Foundation is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all youth, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners. The organization does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, socioeconomic status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

This policy applies to all organizational activities, including but not limited to:

  • Youth programs and services
  • Educational and athletic activities
  • Recruitment and participation of students and families
  • Hiring and employment practices
  • Selection and management of volunteers and contractors

Harassment and Respectful Conduct

Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or retaliation of any kind is strictly prohibited. All participants, staff, volunteers, and partners are expected to treat one another with dignity, respect, and fairness.

Reporting Concerns

Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, or retaliation is encouraged to report the concern to organizational leadership or a designated staff member. Reports will be taken seriously and addressed promptly and confidentially to the extent possible.

Compliance

Sound Mind Sound Body Foundation complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to nondiscrimination and equal opportunity.

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure continued alignment with best practices in youth development and nonprofit governance.
