July 10, 2023 – Sound Mind Sound Body (SMSB), a leading organization dedicated to the holistic development of youth athletes, is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and 3D Institute. This collaboration aims to provide comprehensive development training to 1,000 volunteers, empowering them to have a more significant impact on and off the field.
The training program, designed by SMSB in conjunction with FCA and 3D Institute, is a testament to the organizations’ shared commitment to fostering positive coach-player relationships, shaping a culture centered on capturing athletes’ hearts, and promoting holistic growth.
Key components of the partnership include:
1. Weekly Coaching Strategies: Coaches will receive ongoing guidance and support through weekly coaching strategies that enhance their coaching techniques, helping them maximize their effectiveness in mentoring young athletes.
2. Volunteer Certification Training: The 3D Institute and FCA will provide a 2-hour training course for 1,000 volunteers. This training will include a presentation and a certification examination.
3. Prayer Team: A dedicated prayer team will be available to address the needs of coaches and players. This spiritual support system will offer encouragement, guidance, and prayers to assist coaches along their journey.
4. Volunteer Spotlight: We will recognize top volunteers who provide excellent leadership and mentoring to our youth.
5. Weekly Guide and Roadmap: Coaches will receive year-round access to the 3D institute coaching curriculum.
